Homes damaged after grass fire spreads near Roy Frontrunner Station in Weber County

A fast-moving fire ripped through a Roy neighborhood, damaging multiple homes and sending neighbors running to protect their own properties. The fire ignited at approximately 2:45 p.m. on Monday. Details about the fire have not been released, but neighbors speculated that sparks from a FrontRunner train started it.
