The Dawgs Do Dargo - A High Country Victoria Ride Dargo to Bright via Blue Rag and The Twins

An adventure bike ride in the Victorian High Country. Today is Day 3 of four days - a change of plans when Greg's rear brake pads dragged and wore out on Day 2. He was able to source some in Myrtleford so we reconfigured the route to get there via some stunning country. Starting in Dargo, the plan was to do the Crooked River Track and then ascend the South Basalt South Track, however the river levels were well up and prevented us from getting across the rivers. So we took Dargo High Plains Road, checked out the Blue Rag Range, and then rode the Twins Track, Mt Murray, Twins Jeep Track, Dingo Creek Track, Buffalo Range Track and skirted around the Western side of Mt Buffalo taking us past Lake Buffalo and into Myrtleford to collect Greg's brake pads. By this time it was quite late so we made the dash into Bright to reduce the distance on Day 4. On board two KTM 500s, one Husqvarna 501, one KTM690 (having lost one 690 on Day 1) .
