IRADUKUNDA ELSA CROWNED MISS RWANDA 2017

The search for Rwanda’s most beautiful girl is over. And Iradukunda Elsa has successfully snatched the Crown for 2017 Miss Rwanda. For Iradukunda from Western Province said the trick of winning the 2017 Miss Rwanda pageant was “Prayer”. She trounced 15 contestants to get the prestigious crown. The 15 finalists were earlier this month screened from a total of 26 contestants from all four provinces and Kigali city. These finalists have been undergoing several chores and training at a boot camp in preparation for this day. Umutoniwase Linda, Iradukunda Elsa , Shimwa Guelda, Kalimpinya Queen and Umuhoza Fanique completed the top five. Efforts from the boot camp show that the pageants have improved in skills such as ; public speaking, project design, general knowledge, and modeling among others. Miss Rwanda is held under three pillars; Beauty, Brain and Culture. For Iradukunda, during her reign as Miss Rwanda 2017, her target is to promote Made in Rwanda brands in order to enhance consumption of local products.
