Hashimoto-San: Strange Companion

1961. Originally made in Cinemascope and directed by Emanuel "Mannie" Davis. Hashimoto tells his children, Yuriko and Subaro. A bedtime story about how Tarō adapted a dragon that grew in size, Much to the villagers dismay. The Dragon caused trouble to the Villagers of the village and thus was banished. All is fun and games until Mount Fuji erupts, Which the villagers flee as the Dragon saves the village from being lava ash by creating a trench for the lava, getting water and putting the volcano to rest. After Hashimoto tells his story. He hears the volcano rise, takes a picture of the dragon and says "Ten Thousand Words not worth one picture"
