Guillermo "Willy" Bascuñán is a prolific Chilean composer who joined the group "Los 4 Cuartos" in 1963. With them, he premiered "Los Viejos Estandartes" on the LP "Al 7° de Línea!" in 1966, and this march became the official anthem of the Chilean Army in 1976. During the Gala Concert for the 20th Anniversary of the Military Historical Corporation, the composer sang the original version of his work and shared its story with all the attendees.
