Hi, I'm Leslie and welcome to Birdie, my home on the road! I'm a full-time writer and I've been on the road for a few months now, as a solo female traveler. I really tried to capture the reality of what my week completely alone (and immediately post-breakup) felt like, and in watching it, I can almost see myself softening into it. At the start, I’m enduring it, but a few days in I start to really enjoy it, beginning with baby steps of a spontaneous detour. By the end of the week, I was able to fully embrace the beauty of seeing where a day takes me.
