Móvil Historia del perro Fernando en Tomate la Tarde (2 de 2)

From the province of Chaco, our host, Ariel Ramírez, spoke with Professor Eduardo Barreto, who told us about Fernando, a stray dog who lived in the city of Resistencia during the 1950s and early 1960s. Fernando became known among the city's inhabitants for frequenting bars and concerts attended by musicians, artists, and politicians from the capital. Fernando died in 1963 after being hit by a car in the plaza in front of the Government House. He was buried on the sidewalk in front of "El Fogón de los Arrieros," a museum in the city, and his funeral was the most attended in the city's history. After his death, he received many tributes, the most well-known being the one paid to him by Alberto Cortez with the famous song "Callejero." #TakeTheAfternoon #TakeTheAfternoon Program aired on July 11, 2016. http://www.tvpublica.com.ar/tomatelat...   / tomatelatarde     / _tomatelatarde     / tomatelatard
