Santiago en transporte público: ¡en 1 DÍA te muestro lo MEJOR!
Santiago by Public Transport: Metro, Buses, Trains, Funicular, Cable Car and more Documentary Santiago de Chile in public transport, recorded in its entirety on Friday, March 3, 2023. In the video I explain the operation of public transport in the capital of Chile with practical examples and many trips. I traveled on the Santiago Metro (Lines 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6), on buses of the RED Mobility system (114, 201, 210, 213e, 401, 419, 519, E07), the urban train Metrotren Nos , all these transports are integrated and you can use them with the Bip Card. And I traveled in other means of transport that are not integrated, such as the Metrotren Rancagua train (which has its own card), the Santiago Funicular and the Santiago Cable Car (both are tourist transports managed by Turistik), and the elevator to the SKY Costanera viewpoint which is private. Public transport in Santiago is paid with the Bip Card, which allows you to travel on 3 forms of transport within 2 hours, with the exception that you cannot repeat a specific route. The ticket costs about 1 dollar, between $640 and $800 pesos depending on the transport you use and the time. The Santiago Metro belongs to the public company Metro S.A, the trains belong to the State Railway Company, which is also public, and the buses belong to the State, but the routes are operated by private companies (through tenders), and the buses they are brought and maintained by supplying companies, which are the manufacturer brands (also with tenders). In the last year 2023, about half of the bus routes have new companies and new buses. Within those renovations, almost 1,000 electric buses arrived. By the year 2023, it is estimated that Santiago will have 1,880 electric buses of various brands. In addition to trips by public transport, on the trip we saw areas of the commune of Santiago and Providencia, especially Cerro San Cristóbal, Avenida Providencia, Cerro Santa Lucía and the Costanera Center shopping center. Video presented by my books. If you like what I do, you will love my books.
