Two teams participate in the game. A team can consist of one, two, or three players. The game uses no more than 12 balls. If a team consists of one or two players, each of them plays with three balls. If a team consists of three players, each player of such a team plays with two balls. By throwing a coin, they choose which team starts playing first. This team draws a circle on the field with a diameter of about 30 cm. A player of the first team, standing in the circle, throws a wooden ball - a jack at a distance of 6 to 10 meters but no closer than 50 cm from any obstacle. In this case, the player's feet must be inside the circle until the jack stops. After the jack is thrown, any player of the first team throws the first ball, trying to place it as close to the jack as possible. In this case, the feet of the player who throws should not protrude beyond the circle. After the first throw, the player of the second team stands in the same circle and tries to throw his ball closer to the jack or knock out the opponent's ball. The next throw is made by the team whose ball is further from the jack, and throws its balls until one of its balls is closer to the jack than any of the opponent's balls. After that, the opposing team throws. If the opposing team has no balls left to throw, the other team throws its remaining balls, trying to place them as close to the jack as possible. When the balls of both teams have been thrown, the points are counted. The winning team receives as many points as its balls are placed closer to the jack than the nearest ball of the opposing team. The round is considered complete when each team has thrown all its balls. The winning team starts a new round by drawing a circle where the jack fell from the previous round, and then throws the jack again and starts a new round. Play continues until one team scores 13 points.
