Cruising the River of Kings

Before setting sail, Aireen, Ailene and I spent time exploring Bangkok’s spectacular ICONSIAM. As expected, there were plenty of photo opportunities, so we captured more than a few memories while wandering through the vast shopping complex, sampling local food, enjoying a coffee, and soaking up the riverside atmosphere. As evening approached, we boarded the Wild Orchid River Cruise for a relaxing journey along Thailand’s famous “River of Kings” — the Chao Phraya River. Cruising past illuminated temples, luxury hotels and Bangkok’s glittering skyline, we enjoyed the sights from the water while indulging in an enormous buffet dinner.
