Jeep Wrangler JL & Gladiator Aux Battery Delete-Odyssey Battery Install. On this video we bypass our 2018 Jeep JL Wrangler's auxiliary battery on the 3.6L and install a performance Odyssey H7 battery! We had a very common problem with our JL where the aux battery died and then drained our main battery leaving the Jeep dead and unable to start. This has been a pretty big problem with this setup for many people, so on this video we decided to bypass altogether! This whole process is very easy and takes very little time and only applies to the 3.6L engine. We also decided to replace our main battery with a performance H7 battery from Odyssey. This new battery is a big step up in performance and is said to last 8-10 years, this is nice since our Mopar one lasted only 4 years.
