How do you escape the forgotten secrets of Appalachia once they see you? A child’s moonlit walk took her deep into the mountains, where paths disappeared and lost things wander. That’s where she found it. Found Her and heard her song. Now the little girl has grown into a woman that’s haunted by loneliness and loss. One night, the full moon brings the darkness directly into her home. Winner of Outstanding Visual Achievement at the 2025 Appalachian Film Festival, where it debuted, and Best Cinematography at the 2026 Love Your Shorts Film Festival.
