All you need to knit it is to know the circumference of your child's face. If you can't measure it, use a chart of head circumference measurements, and in the video tutorial, you'll find a formula for calculating the circumference. My bonnet (white) is knitted for a head circumference of 40 cm. I used 240 m of Alize baby best yarn in 100g and 3.5 mm knitting needles for the cap and 4 mm knitting needles for the ties.
