The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) claims to have attacked at least 27 US military installations and bases. At least 20 US military facilities were reportedly damaged in the series of attacks. One of the main targets was in Bahrain. Iran targeted Juffair Base, Sheikh Isa, and infrastructure belonging to the US Navy Fifth Fleet. The next attack targeted Kuwait. The IRGC claimed to have attacked Camp Arifjan, Ali Al Salem Air Base, and several US air defense systems. In Qatar, the target was Al Udeid Air Base. The base is one of the largest centers of US military operations in the Middle East. Iran also launched a barrage of ballistic missiles at Azraq Air Base in Jordan. These attacks were said to be in retaliation for US military operations in Iran. Tensions between the two countries continue to escalate.
