The Office of the Air Attaché at the Royal Thai Embassy in Seoul announced via official social media that it formed a delegation led by the Royal Thai Air Force Deputy Chief of Staff (Lieutenant General) and toured KAI, Wonju Air Base, and T-50/FA-50 related units from July 5 to 10. It was stated that the delegation observed the progress of the KF-21 (Boramae) development and exchanged views with agencies related to maintenance, technical support, and operations. As Thailand is currently reviewing a next-generation fighter jet project to replace the F-5 and AlphaJet, the visit by a high-ranking official is being interpreted as an indication of interest in the potential acquisition of the Boramae.
