We all get along and have much respect for each other's game. The power pool was grueling, we each were fighting hard for the 1st round bye to enter the quarterfinal. 2. I did not record this game, as I knew my battery would be dead for the remaining games if I filmed this game. Mikael filmed it, but something got messed up and it recorded most of the game on slo mo, equaling to a 1hr14minute match, so it took forever for his iCloud link to send to me. Once I received it, I was able to speed up the slo mo to normal speed on CapCut. 3. Thank you Lauren for getting Jun out of the video! 🙏🏻 4. I am so happy I retrieved this video and fixed it. I learned I need to drill endlessly players serving to me in straight on skinny singles, and driving every ball between 3rd 5th and 7th, and I need to put my left hand behind my back, be more neutral with my paddle face in the prep, so I can play outside my right hip with a forehand when it's too far to slide with a backhand, and I need to extend and fire through the ball with a relatively closed paddle face, so I execute hitting hard and down, neutralizing such opponents like Garrison here. 5. I also learned I need to drill hitting hybrids off of the craziest backhand spins, just in case I play someone like David Iba hitting that wicked slice. I didn't trust dropping the ball, so I kept driving aiming to just keep it low and play the 5th shot drop. As a result, I missed too many 3rd shots off of his slice to win at higher levels. 6. Another pickleball moment that reminds me of why I wear glasses 😎🕶️😂
