Like them or loathe them, it was a reasonably successful design - although not as successful as British Leyland would have liked to be honest! The National is one of the most popular single decker buses in the UK transport history. There's also no denying that London Transport is one of the - if not THE most popular bus company and bus operator in the UK. So what happens when these two huge icons come together? In this video we look at the first off the peg bus that London Transport bought that it managed to get working properly.
