In this Lenten season, we are reminded that a sincere desire to seek Jesus can change everything. Just like Zacchaeus in Luke 19:1–11, who longed to see Jesus despite obstacles, we too are invited to rise above our limitations, our past, and our struggles. Though he was unable to see Jesus because of the crowd and his own shortcomings, his determination led him to climb higher—and that one act of seeking brought him face to face with the Savior. Zacchaeus didn’t call out to Jesus… yet Jesus called him by name. This is the beauty of God’s love: When you seek Him, He sees your heart When you take one step, He comes closer to you When you open yourself, He enters your life During this season of Lent, let us be open to the Spirit of God, allowing His Word to transform us from within. God’s love and faithfulness strengthen us, guide us, and lead us into a deeper relationship with Him.
