Nord Star 49 Delivery trip. Stockholm to Oslo
Delivery trip of the Nord Star 49 SCY from Stockholm to Oslo. 750 nautical miles in 3 days. We took long way around the south coast of Sweden, passing through Copenhagen and then up the Swedish west coast to Norway. We had all kinds of weather conditions, ranging from flat seas in the sunset to gale force winds out of Stockholm heading south down the coast. But the NS49 handlede it all with ease. Powered by twin Volvo Penta IPS 800 engines giving the 17 tonne boat a top speed of 40 knots.
