GRMUID No. 3727 - Highway Authority Ref: Downton 14A - Wick Lane

2008m – riding from the western end ride north-easterly into the narrow turning off of GRMUID 3726. This turns sharply to the left with deeply cut ruts which turn into a narrow set of trails between overgrown trees and shrubs on both sides of the trail. You’ll come out of the woodland section into a flowing trail with views over open fields through the lower hedges on either side. There are clear ruts you can follow – be aware of chalk in some of the deeper ruts. Ignore the entrance to GRMUID 3725 on your left but continue following the trail as it winds over the countryside – again areas of deeper ruts and a more broken trail the further your ride. After a long uphill in deeper ruts you’ll reach the end as it meets the road.
