MATCHBOX Restoration No 63b Foamite Crash Tender 1964

This is a model of an Alvis Pyrene Mark 6 'Salamander' which was used as a crash fire tender in the Royal air Force in the 1960s. This model had it's unique set of challenges including the repro parts that would not fit! The unusual suspension on this model makes it, I think,one of a kind. Remember, if you find one with a silver foam nozzle, it can be worth a lot of money! I hope you enjoy this makeover. I had to ring in sick after this makeover. It was my eye.
