Planting Japanese Millet For Ducks (Part 3) | We've Got Heads..

We checked in on our Japanese Millet this weekend for a 6 week update and discovered a big development. Much of the millet that we planted has already had seed heads form and appears to be progressing very well. Some much needed rain has also sparked a lot more growth and led to lots of chufa thriving in the areas we hadn't planted. We have decided we won't be doing a 3rd planting of millet on this pond due to that growth but we'll continue to check up on growth as summer rolls on and goose/duck hunting seasons get closer.
