Below is a detailed step-by-step guide: 🔧 What you'll need Tools: Phillips head screwdriver PH0 / PH1 Plastic spudger (pick) for disassembly Tweezers Isopropyl alcohol (≥90%) Lint-free wipes or cotton swabs Thermal grease (e.g., Arctic MX-4, Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut, etc.) ⚙️ Step-by-Step Guide 1. Preparation Turn off the laptop completely. Disconnect the charger and remove all peripherals. If possible, discharge the battery to ~20% (reduces the risk of short-circuiting). 2. Removing the bottom cover Turn the laptop upside down. - Remove all screws from the bottom of the case (usually 8-10, some may be hidden under the rubber feet). Carefully pry the cover off with a plastic pick, starting from the back (closest to the screen hinges). Do not use metal tools, as this may damage the plastic. Unlatch all latches around the perimeter and remove the bottom cover. 3. Disconnecting the Battery Locate the battery cable on the motherboard.
