Spearfishing Float Setup

I have been asked quite often about my spearfishing float setup, so thought i would put up a short video just to show what i do. This is just what works for me and no doubt other people will have different ideas. the float line is PVC tube; i fill the ends with bathroom sealant and then fold and tape the end over. The PVC tube avoids tangling and does actually float which is perfect when in amongst the weed. Carrying a VHF and EPIRB might seem excessive, but we get some pretty strong tides and i like to get out and swim in them, so it makes sense to me. VHF range from in the water would be very limited though, but there are usually fishing boats around and the EPIRB would hopefully get the coastguards attention... I already have the EPIRB and VHF for other boat/surfski hobbies so it costs nothing to use them here.
