The meeting, which took place at the East Adonara District Office, was attended by the Chairman of the East Flores Regional People's Representative Council (DPRD), the Head of the East Flores Police, the Commander of the Mobile Brigade Corps (Danki) of the NTT Regional Police, the East Flores Military District Command (Kodim), and the Head of the East Flores Police Intelligence Unit. During the meeting, the Deputy Regent of East Flores emphasized to the two village heads that they should urge the community to exercise restraint and refrain from further involvement in the conflict. Ignasius stated that war does not produce victory; it only results in destruction and bloodshed. "Each of us must exercise restraint. There must be no more conflict, period. There must be no more. War doesn't produce victory; it only leads to destruction and bloodshed," he stressed. He emphasized that if any individuals commit provocation, he expects the two village heads to report it so that security forces can take action. "If any parties are involved in provocation, report it. Don't hide it. This is our shared moral responsibility," he said. He said the social conflict is shameful because it occurs repeatedly, so he strongly hopes that further conflict will not occur. The Deputy Regent of East Flores asked the two village heads to prepare a history of the customary land rights they claim so that each can be held accountable during the resolution. "Prepare your respective histories, the history of the claim, if it is customary land rights for Bele, and the history of the claim, if it is customary land rights for Lewonara. At the appropriate time, we will determine how many people will be involved so we can meet," he explained. To date, security continues to be maintained, involving 157 joint personnel consisting of personnel from the Ende Mobile Brigade Command (BKO Brimob), Kupang Mobile Brigade Command (BKO Brimob), the Mobile Brigade Bomb Squad (Jibom Brimob), personnel from the East Flores Police, and personnel from the sub-district police (Polsek), as well as personnel from the 1624-02 Adonara Military District Command (Koramil).
