Hack Audio: FIR Filter Design Functions
This video demonstrates two different MATLAB functions for designing FIR filters. The result of each function is an impulse response of a filter matching the filter specifications. The first function, fir1, can be used to create a low-pass filter (LPF), high-pass filter (HPF), band-pass filter (BPF), and band-stop filter (BSF). The second function, fir2, can be used to create a filter with an arbitrary frequency response specified by the programmer. Check out for more information.
