Indiana at Iowa - 3/11/1989

Indiana had already clinched the Big Ten title the previous weekend with their senior day victory over Wisconsin. With nothing to play for in terms of the conference, Bob Knight decided to rest Jay Edwards and Todd Jadlow. So the Hoosiers ended up starting a number of lightly-used players throughout the game. Iowa would take advantage, breaking a losing streak and winning 87-70. Despite winning the Big Ten title outright, Indiana would end up as the West Region 2 seed, while Illinois got the 1 seed in the Midwest (and in Indianapolis).
