3 Dicas de Montagem de Drywall no Teto: Saiba O Que Não Fazer!

Tiago Moraes, from the @DRYWALLPARATODOS channel, brings 3 important tips for those starting to work with drywall. So, gather your equipment and let's check out 3 things you shouldn't do when installing drywall on a ceiling: ➡️ 3 Drywall Ceiling Installation Tips 0:42 Tip 1: Pay attention to the leveling of the drywall profiles 3:31 Tip 2: First fixing point with a trim strip 6:27 Tip 3: Pay attention to the tying of the boards Video Summary ➡️ Tip 1: Pay attention to the leveling of the drywall profiles The drywall structure must be very well made to avoid problems in the future. And, at this point, we have the leveling of the drywall profiles. For a good procedure, the tip is to use a level to check if the profile application is correct. After leveling, make a loop in the wire to improve the support of the drywall profile. This prevents the structure from shifting or changing position due to the weight of the board. ➡️ Tip 2: First fixing point with a tabica (a type of drywall trim) Regarding the structure, we have the drywall tabica, a piece similar to a channel that supports the plasterboard ceiling panels and makes a big difference in the finish. The standard states that each fixing point should be 1 meter and 20 centimeters apart to prevent the structure from breaking. However, when working with a tabica, you need to make the first fixing point close to the tabica, between 30 or 40 centimeters. This will prevent the tabica from being affected by the weight of the board. Thus, in addition to contributing to the aesthetics, the tabica helps with expansion. ➡️ Tip 3: Pay attention to the bonding of the boards A very common mistake among people who are starting to assemble drywall is related to the bonding of the boards. Always remember to bond them properly to avoid a drywall assembly that is out of standard or even makes mistakes that could compromise the entire project in the future. Drywall boards are standard size 120 x 180 centimeters, but other sizes are available on the market. The tip for this point is that, after installing the first board, the second should never be aligned (applied side-by-side with the first). They should be staggered. This technique helps in bonding the boards, whether for the ceiling or wall. _______________________________________________________________ 🛒 Products used: Drywall and Steel Frame Profiles - https://bit.ly/3Cn15Kv _______________________________________________________________ 👍 Did you like the video? 📝Comment below and tell us! 📣Share with your friends!
