BEREKUM-SAMPA Road Project for Rehabilitation Spanning 120 Kilometers commenced

n a brief ceremony held at Jinjini in the Brekum West Constituency of the Bono Region, Minister Asenso Boakye, overseeing Roads and Highways, inaugurated the much-awaited BEREKUM-SAMPA Road project on April 2nd, 2024. This crucial road, spanning 120 kilometers from Sunyani Dumasua through Berekum, Jinijini, Japekrom, Drobo, Suma, to Sampa, will undergo rehabilitation by Rango Engineering contractors. With an estimated cost of $125 million or 1.6 million Ghana cedis, the project aims to rehabilitate the road with an asphaltic overlay, adhering to specified standards. Assuring the region's inhabitants of timely and quality completion within twenty-four months, the Minister called upon communities to support the contractor to ensure successful project delivery for the nation's benefit.
