The Escola d'Art i Superior de Ceràmica de Manises (EASC) is a public center for plastic arts and design education integrated into the Higher Institute of Artistic Education of the Valencian Community (ISEACV) that depends on the Generalitat Valenciana. It offers training that combines creativity and the most appropriate technological knowledge for the transformation of ceramic materials and has managed to become a world reference for the teaching of ceramics in the training of future artists, teachers, designers and researchers, who arrive to school from foreign countries such as Japan, Portugal, Korea, Turkey, France…. The EASC's commitment is to build a future with objects that are more respectful of the environment by extending their useful life, claiming ceramics as an effective alternative to single-use plastic.
