The Dreamiest Coastal Town in the PNW | Astoria, Oregon

Astoria is a charming, historical coastal town in Oregon, and one of my favorite day trips from Portland. It’s right along the Columbia River and has that dreamy Pacific Northwest coastal feeling. I spent a slow day wandering around, visiting the Astoria Column and Fort Stevens, and seeing lots (actually lots) of elk.
