Famous Fried Clams at Essex Seafood House

We tried Essex Seafood Restaurant! Tember’s Channel:    / @thetemlife   In today's video, we had a food suggestion to try Essex Seafood Restaurant in Pierson, Florida. This is just down the road from Sparky’s Place in Astor. Just make note, it is CASH only. This little seafood restaurant is not very big but it features several options throughout the menu. They are known for the famous fried clams so that was something we had to get. We all tried a little bit of everything. We tried the clam chowder, which was more soup like than the creamy kind we like but the taste wasn’t bad. We had the seafood plate which we got grilled and blackened. This featured shrimp, Haddock, oysters, and we chose the fried clam strips. It came with two sides so we went with baked potato and hush puppies. It was plenty of food and their clam strips were very good! The rest of the crew got pretty much the same thing but we also got to try the mac and cheese and the onion rings, which were piled high. For dessert, we had to try their homemade Boston Cream Pie! It was stinkin’ good and worth getting. Overall, we had a good time at Essex Seafood House in Pierson, Florida. It’s small, cash only, but had some good food! If you are in the area, give it a try. Also, on the way home, you might see a Florida Black Bear like we did! Hope you enjoyed our restaurant review!
