piezo electric reproducer
Using a piezo electric speaker (which can be salvaged from a greeting card, smoke alarm, alarm clock, etc.) it is possible to make an electric pickup element for your phonograph. This way you can record your (wax) cylinders on any device with an analog line-in input. Using your computer you can edit these recordings and polish them to improve the quality. So gone are the days where you need to sit with your microphone in front of the machine, trying to pickup the perfect sounds and hoping that no other sounds ruin your recording so that you don't need to start all over again. 0:00 Introduction 0:53 part 1: The sound of silence 3:34 part 2: How it is made 09:58 part 3: Does it work?
