Hakko 808 No Heat :-(
My Hakko 808 de-soldering gun stopped heating. I investigate why. I also have a rant. Do NOT copy any of this procedure as it is dangerous. Electricity can KILL !! Mains electricity can definitely kill you !! For educational purposes only !! p.s. Element for Hakko 808 US 120V 80W is now obsolete ! I have now replaced the Hakko with a cheap Chinese unit.
