Back on the beach, back in the rain, and back causing absolute mayhem. A night away in Blyth turns into a full-on low‑water session at Cambois Beach — rods bending, bites everywhere, mystery knocks, disappearing weights, and the weather doing its best to ruin my life. Classic day out, really. But here’s the thing… Something kept hitting the baits. Sometimes tiny taps. Sometimes proper wallops. Sometimes… well… you’ll have to watch to see what actually turned up on the line. From salted mackerel to frozen blacks, from watch leads to grippers, from calm seas to lots of rain — this session had everything except peace and quiet. Even bumped into a couple of legends down Blyth Harbour before the chaos kicked off. And yes… There may have been singing. There may have been dancing.
