A Taste of Bergamo, Italy

We spent three days in Bergamo living in the lower town about a twenty minute walk (uphill of course) to the upper town. A great way to get some exercise and see historic monuments, eat great food at several places, be dazzled by the views and deafened by the bells. We highly recommend flying into the nearby airport Milan Bergamo Airport and taking a free hotel shuttle (if you're hotel offers that), bus or taxi (in that order by cost and convience) to nearby Bergamo since walking is impossible.
