Why do I Exist? From the beginning of time, man has been looking for the reason of his existence. Man invented fire and the wheel. Man landed on the moon. He developed science, medicine, and technology for his comfort and good living, but still man is battling with the question, “Why am I here? Why do I exist?” God is calling people through Jesus Christ to form a new race, a new group of chosen people. They become God’s treasured possession. The motive behind it is God’s mercy. We are being called by God? So why do I exist? I exist for God’s glory. When I proclaim God’s word and do good deeds, God is glorified. So the very reason for your existence is for God to be glorified in and through your life. Seeking our you well-being can never provide a truly satisfying goal for life. The answer to our search for ultimate meaning in life lies in ‘declaring the excellencies’ of God, for he alone is infinitely worthy of glory. Purpose in life is ultimately not found in a man-centered life but a God-centered life. So if you want to find the reason for your existence, you need to come to God.
