Camera Trapping - Ruffed Grouse & Mink

Having seen that one of my camera traps might have mis-functioned I headed back a few days later. Usually I would leave the camera trap out for at least two weeks but knowing that one of the cameras wasn't firing when an animal walked through the sensor, I had to go back and take a look. With camera trapping I try to get everything done before I leave because the camera will be sitting out for at least two weeks, if something in the early days is wrong it pays to go back and get it right. You wouldn't want to have your camera out for that long knowing that something wasn't right and you could potentially miss images.
