Fly Tying: Big Game - Chosen One, Silicone Variation

The purpose behind this video is to demonstrate the scale-ability of the Chosen One from the 4" BareBones version up to a 10" BEAST Fleye. The Fly Demonstrated here is a simple Popovics's Siliclone variation using a few material subsitutions from the Chosen One Material Kits. Finding high quality bucktail is a very difficult thing to do - likewise creating a lot of Bulk with Synthetics that still swim well is often an equally difficult task, but by combining the two - you truly get the best of both worlds! By combining our Squimpish Hair with Bucktail we can create flies with plenty of bulk, yet retain a very lifelike action throughout the fly. (Think of the Squimpish hair as merely an extension to the tips of the bucktail fibers). This solution also allows you to tie large flies with relatively poorer quality bucktial.
