However, AS exploited this vulnerability under the pretext of a fertility ritual. Complaint Dika stated that the suspect asked his own wife to persuade the victim to have sex with three people. The suspect's wife acted as a communication liaison between the victim and AS. As the victim's relative, she was trusted and able to convince the victim to comply with her husband's requests. The victim was even asked to send a video of intimate relations with her husband for the suspect to "pray for." According to information received by Tribunnews, AS had committed this heinous act three times. The case came to light after AS made a strange remark to the victim's husband. This statement aroused suspicion, until the victim finally revealed what had happened. At the time of the confession, the victim was four months pregnant. The victim's husband then reported the case to the Pati Police on Sunday (May 10). The day after the report, the suspect was arrested in Jepara Regency while visiting his family's home. AS is now being charged under the Sexual Violence Crimes Act (TPKS), which carries a maximum sentence of 12 years in prison.
