#2 Stopmotion Production Diary - Making a character support rig
Production diary episode #2 of making a stopmotion movie with action figures. Today I am making a simple rig to support an action figure whilst its being animated. The rig is made of brass rods and aluminium blocks, using very basic machining techniques and some thread cutting. I have a basic lathe/mill combo machine that I use for my machining. I am using some aluminium and brass that I have lying around in my workshop - it always pays to have lots of bits and pieces you can call upon for these projects. Always buy more then you need! I am taking baby steps here and making a very simple rig, in order to learn whats needed in a rig. Brass inserts - https://www.aliexpress.com/item/40002...
