It's as if none of that ever happened. EVE being released from her drop pod, watching her best friend being taken by that black winged Naytiba, going through the raining streets of Eidos 7: it's all as if it never happened. EVE continued onward regardless, going through it all once again, enduring the pain and the loss. EVE was an Angel sent down from Mother Sphere for a purpose. And while EVE still had her wits and breath within, she was going to complete that purpose.
