Robert Kirunda - Kumusalaba
Inspired by the original text of Isaac Watts' "When I Survey the Wondrous Cross" from back in 1707, Kumusalaba really is a new expression of the meaning and impact of the cross. The song reminds us of the liberty that has been made available by the cross, and the freedom from sin, itself the initial and chief victory. In all this Christ expressed God's undeniable, unquenchable love of God. This hymn is the expression of Paul's admonition in Romans 5:8 "But God proves His love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us".
