Paul warns believers not to let anyone judge them over food, drink, festivals, or Sabbaths. These things were only shadows that pointed to Christ, who is the true reality. He cautions against false humility and angel worship promoted by deceivers. Such people have lost connection with Christ, the Head, from whom the whole body grows. Since believers died with Christ, they are no longer bound by human rules and traditions. Though these appear wise, they lack real power to control sinful desires.
