This is specifically for a marine Yanmar 4JH4AE but also applies to other Yanmar Diesels and Volvo Pentas with a VDO LCD screen. Update, Since posting this video, at some point the hour meter stopped working again, after inspection I noticed that the LCD screen's ribbon had failed with a crack. I ordered a replacement LCD screen for £19.99 from them at http://www.akspeedo.com/vdo-lcd-repai...
