3D Text - Custom Extruded Profile with Geometry Nodes

#geometrynodes #blender #tutorial This is the right way to extrude a custom profile along a 3D Text curve in Blender using Geometry Nodes. Unfortunately, the Curve to Mesh node doesn't do a proper job in this case by default. The extruded profile seems wrong somehow, it doesn't flow parallel to the guide text curve. I've seen a couple of video tutorials here on YouTube that address this issue, a big shoutout goes to ‪@BlenderBash‬ and ‪@mauriziobella3157‬, but I think there is a shorter and more straightforward way to achieve the same result.
