Thousands celebrate America’s 250th birthday at Summerlin Patriotic Parade
America is celebrating a milestone 250 years in the making. Saturday, thousands packed the streets of Summerlin for one of the valley’s biggest Fourth of July traditions, celebrating not just Independence Day but America’s 250th birthday. This year’s Summerlin Council Patriotic Parade carried the theme "United We Celebrate 250,” recognizing the nation’s semi-quincentennial and serving as an official America250 Nevada event.
