FGFR mutations in cancer – namely FGFR1, FGFR2, FGFR3, and FGFR4 – are currently being intensively researched, but are quite tricky because they are completely different... The problem is that the changes in FGFR2, for example, are different than in FGFR3 – we are not "just" dealing with point mutations, but also with fusions. The most common cancer types affected here are cholangiocarcinoma (bile duct cancer) with FGFR2 fusions and urothelial carcinoma (bladder cancer) with FGFR3 point mutations. Enjoy the video!
