Welcome back to another weekly rock tumbler cleanout! This week I'm unloading my Apache Warpaint Dolomite Jasper after its final polish stage. The results weren't what I expected, and that's all part of the learning process. Instead of the high-gloss finish I was hoping for, the stones developed a frosty "orange peel" appearance, so it's time to rethink the polishing recipe for the next batch. Every material tumbles differently, and one of the goals of this channel is to document the real-world results—not just the successes, but the lessons learned along the way.
