Mindful May Day 18 - Bumble Bee Embroidery Part 1

Day 18 of Mindful May Eighteen days in and the butterfly, poppy, bluebells, daisies, spring flower, lily of the valley, and the ladybird are all finished. What an achievement. We are striping the body with black and yellow satin stitch, alternating those gorgeous bold stripes, and then whip stitching the antennae to finish off today's session. It is such a fun one to stitch and the results are just so satisfying. In this video: Using satin stitch to build up the black and yellow stripes on the bumble bee body and give it that fluffy feel, and Whip stitching the antennae Another relaxed 30-minute stitch-along at your own pace There is something really joyful about stitching a bumble bee. Those black and yellow stripes just come together so quickly with satin stitch and by the end of today you are going to have the most cheerful little thing taking shape on your hoop.
